Cook Islands Nationals Optimist Championships 2023

This is a national championship race open to all eligible sailors (refer below).

There will be up to 13 races over two days (Friday 10th and Saturday 11th November 2023). A race briefing will be held on Thursday 9th November 2023. (Refer to the Notice of Race & Sailing Instructions for full details). 

The Cook Islands National Optimist Championships 2023 is open to all boats of the Optimist class. And Optimist Jelly beans. The classes will race on the same course at different times.

Each competitor shall be:

1. Under 16 years old on start date of the competition
2. A financial member of a recognised sailing club and;
3. Selected from the pool of sailors to sail in either of the two classes optimist and optimist jelly bean. The selection will be made by Jacobo Miquel, Chris Fenwick, John Batty.
